The Weekend

We finished! We are finally finished with (the majority of) the baby room! Friday evening we ran out of paint to finish painting the dresser so early Saturday morning we found ourselves at Home Depot getting more paint to finish it before my mom and dad arrived that afternoon! I am very pleased with how the dresser turned out. My husband never seems to amaze me with his projects! I'll have pictures of the room soon.

After my mom and dad got here on Saturday we all went to Costco. For some odd reason my dad is secretly obsessed with Costco and REALLY wanted to go! After we got home my mom and I left to go to Babies R Us. My mom & dad wanted to get us our baby bedding for Baby V's room so we picked that up along with some accessories that matched the bedding! I am really pleased with how the baby room is coming together! Thanks Mom & Dad!

While we were gone Dave & my dad went snowshoeing behind our subdivision and Dave pulled Gavin on his snowmobile! This was the first time either of them had gone snowshoeing and they loved it! They were like kids in a candy store; they came home with smiles on their faces and stories galore! They saw 30+ deer too! Needless to say they both really want snowshoes!

We are in for a major snowstorm here within the next couple of days, almost 2 feet will have dropped by Wednesday! Which means; I won't be leaving our house until Thursday! Which means; I can wear my pajamas all day, everyday! I am actually looking forward to it!
