Our Weekend

Thanksgiving was wonderful! Great food and Very relaxing! David and I left mom and dad VV's at around 7pm and ran home to get ready for our evening. We had alot of fun shopping with TJ and Shawna in the Dells! They had great deals! Too bad we were practically done with everyone! We got all of our Christmas shopping done this weekend, along with everything wrapped and under the tree!

Friday was a very very LAZY day for us. After finishing up shopping we came home and we watched a lot of movies and took lots of naps! Considering David and I were going on almost 34 hours without sleep! I can't even remember the last time we/I did that!Yesturday (Saturday) was a day filled with many errands. We had many returns to make along with a few purchases. We then went to lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings! Gavin fell asleep while eating again. The poor kid goes until he can't anymore! I had a swipe food out of his mouth for the fourth time! We then came home and David took Gavin outside to play in the snow. They made a nice mini snowman and lots of snowballs! They were out there for well over an hour +, no lie! We finally had to carry Gavin inside because it was getting so dark outside they couldn't see! He wasn't too happy!Today I had a work Pampered Chef party! It was a lot of fun! I got some nice things and am very excited about them! I also agreed to do a book party, so don't be surprised if you get an e-vite from me :)

Anyways...It is still snowing here! Hopefully the roads won't be too bad tomorrow!

So...Tomorrow if Thanksgiving! This is a very relaxing Holiday for us. Usually consists of us looking at the Ad flyers for Black Friday, having a few cocktails, football, and food! We are not big Turkey Eaters, so...Ham it is with all the fixings of course! Can't wait. We will be spending Thanksgiving at Mom and Dad VV's this year! Then Gavin will be spending the evening with them so that David and I can have an adventure! We are going to be heading down to the Dell's at around 9:00-10:00pm tomorrow with Shawna and TJ. We are going to stop for a few drinks then we are going to be Shopping at the Wisc. Dells Outlet Mall at 12am!! They are supposed to have FABULOUS deals. We'll see! Then we will head on back to Madison and see where we go. I have NEVER done anything to this extent before but I think it will be fun. We will probably be exhausted the rest of the weekend though! I will report on Friday or Saturday on how our Adventure was!

Chapstick

The other night we were hanging out and David had given Gavin some chapstick. Watch and see...

It was a Burt's Bees Lifegaurds Choice Chapstick, if anyone knows what this is, knows it leaves your lips white! Gavin had white all over his lips, teeth, and face!

First Snowfall

We had the first snowfall last night, and the first snowfall that Gavin can actually comment on. The first thing out of his mouth this morning when he saw the snow was, "Oh No! Naughty Daddy," for some reason he thought David put all the snow there. It was the funniest thing! Yesturday we put up our Christmas Tree. We are very excited for this Holiday season because it is the first one that Gavin can help us with everything and we can do it all as a family. He was very excited about putting ornaments on the tree yesturday. When he went to bed David and I had to re-organize the ornaments because they were all in one little cluster from where Gavin had put them :) We had fun! This past weekend I was in Neenah for a baby shower. I went up by myself and hung out with my sister for the weekend. My mom and I helped her paint their basement. We did some shopping and just hung out. I can't remember the last time that we did that, so it was nice. We have a busy Thanksgiving week ahead and we are really looking forward to it!

Q-tips and Tub Crayons

Gavin found his baby Q-Tips today. I thought I would share some picture of him playing with them. It was pretty funny!Gavin also enjoyed the bath today; I broguht out his tub crayons so he could play! He loved it, he kept erasing his drawings with his washcloths and starting over. He drew tractors, trucks, school buses, papa's trucks. or so he thought he was drawing all those things ;) I tooks videos, but they are not uploading for some reason, so..pictures will do!
I have a work meeting tonight! I am really looking forward to it! I then have to run a few errand and maybe get some Christmas shopping done! We know what we are getting everyone, we just have to go and purchase it! I was very close to putting our Christmas tree up yesturday! But..I didn't, we will put it up next week, I can't wait. I love Christmas time!

I had a wonderful birthday yesturday! David came home around 11:30 and surprised me with a bouquet of balloons and a present! The balloons were more for Gavin :) But the present I have been looking at for awhile...The Willow Tree Nativity Set! I loved it! We did not have a nativity set and I am so happy I got one! Something we will have forever!

We went out to lunch yesturday and then came home and relaxed, it was Perfect!

The picture above is of Gavin from the other day. We put underwear on him, he had a few accidents and has not wanted to wear them since. We will try again in a couple weeks. But I just think they are so cute on him!!!

Our Weekend

Saturday was a lot of fun. We had the parent's over for dinner and an early birthday celebration. Then David and I went out with Shawna and TJ for the evening! It was a blast! We started out at the Comedy Club on State! Thanks to shawna who got us in :) None of us knew you had to make reservations, well...usually you don't, but the headliner was Nate Griffin, and it was all sold out, so they put us on a waiting list and, shawna worked her magic and got us on the top of the list!! Needless to say I would have been bummed if we missed it. I have never laughed so much! my cheeks hurt! We then headed to downtown for some drinks! It was something David and I don't get to do too often, so it was alot of fun and we had a great time! Today Ashley and Matt came down for the day to celebrate my birthday (early) with me and to watch the packer/bears game! David and Matt were rooting for the Bears, Good thing the Packers Won!!! Othen then that we just hung out and layed around today. Nothing too exciting! Tomorrow is my Birthday and we have nothing planned, well I don't at least. We will see what David has up his sleeve. He always seems to amaze me :)

Busy Weekend!

We have a busy day today. We woke up early and got ready. David and Gavin went over to Mom and Dad VV's to drop off our futon!!! Last night we took down the futon that was in Gavin's bedroom. We now put all of his toys in his bedroom, which means...NO MORE TOYS IN THE LIVING ROOM, Yes! I ran errands this morning while they were gone, and now we are doing laundry and waiting for company! Mom and Dad Hack, along with Mom and Dad VV are coming over for dinner tonight. Then Nana and Grandpa are watching Gavin this evening while David and I go out with Shawna and TJ. We are going to the Comedy Club and out for drinks for my B-day! It should be alot of fun. My birthday is not until Monday, but why not celebrate early! Tomorrow Aunt Ashley and Uncle Matt are coming down for the day! We will be having a little Packer/Bears Party!

Happy Monday!

We had a nice weekend, seemed to go by quickly, like always! Friday we had company over during the day. My sister came to visit, along with Marie, Jenna, and Tyler! It was nice to see them and relax and let the kids play together!

Saturday we babysat Reilly, Taryn, and Reagan for the afternoon! Shawna and TJ went to a movie, and we were so excited to babysit them! We were happy to get our baby fix :) After that we went to Mom and Dad VV's for dinner. Gpa and Gma Vander Velde were there for the weekend, so it was nice to have dinner and relax with them! Sunday we had Nolan's 1st birthday party and then visited for a little bit at Mom and Dad VV's, then home to watch out Sunday Shows! Seems like we didn't do much, but the weekend went by fast!

Today is filled with alot of errands!

So this evening David, Gavin and I went to the Pizza Hut Buffet for dinner. We had a coupon for $5.99 a person. It has changed so much since I have been there last. You can basically order any kind of pizza or pasta you want and however much for $5.99! We tried the taco pizza, BBQ pizza, hawaiin, chicken, and some others, along with there yummy pasta, it really is good! I recommend everyone going. They serve everyday for lunch buffets or Wed. nights for dinner buffets! Gavin enjoyed it too and we didn't even pay for him, he just ate with us. He really likes pizza. You just have to catch him at the right time, and tonight seemed like a good night for him. He ate quite a bit of pizza!

Yesturday we went to hang out with Shawna and the kids. We took a nice walk to the nearest coffee shop and then walked back to the firemans park in Sun Prairie, where the boys played so nicely for quite awhile! It was so beautiful out, too bad the weather is changing.

Tomorrow is supposed to rain, but I am kind of looking forward to it. I have laundry and some cleaning to do! Aunt Ashley is coming to visit on Friday for the day! We are very excited to see her. I made the mistake of telling Gavin she was coming on Friday! He has been talking about it all afternoon and night, and everytime the phone rings he says, "I have it, I talk to Ashley". Even when it isn't her, but mostly it is, haha.

Happy Voting Day!

Happy Voting Day! What an exciting day, mainly because it is OVER! No more ads or phone calls, YES! This is my first time being able to vote! I feel very privileged, and I am ready to go stand in a LONG line!

We have a busy day today! We planned to do things outside so that we can enjoy the LAST nice day! We hope you all enjoy it too ;)

Our Halloween Weekend.

Gavin had a wonderful Halloween in Neenah. It was a lot of fun and Gavin kept his costume on the ENTIRE time! I was so happy! His favorite part was handing out the candy to the little kids. This years Halloween was so nice and we had such beautiful weather and the best part about it was that we didn't have to bundle up so much like every other year. Here are a few pictures of Gavin's 2nd Halloween.Today Gavin and I went to Elmo Live (Elmo makes Music) with Shawna and Reilly! It was alot of fun. I have to admit though, and David was right. I think Gavin was a little too young for it. Not that it didn't entertain the kids or anything, but because it was so hard to keep the kids in a confined spot for the whole time. We ended up leaving during intermission, which was a good idea. So...My husband was right..Gavin was too young. Good thing the tickets were FREE! Here are a few pictures of our trip to Elmo Live.
