New House and BUSY BUSY BUSY!

Our New House! This is the only picture of the house that I have, I'll have to get some more, but this is exactly what it looks like right now, and in the same stage. The inside is completely finished but the outside still has work to be done! More on this later....

We have been beyond busy over the past week. This past weekend I was in Neenah Friday and Saturday for 'Team Hailey 5k' it was a great turn out and it raised over $40,000! simply amazing! Besides the fact that we all had to either run or walk in the pooring rain!

Sunday Mom VV, myself and Kristin all headed to Chicago area for a bridal shower! It was very nice to see everyone, and...the next time we see them will be in a couple of weeks for Jen and Mark's Wedding! I am looking forward to all of the weddings we have coming up! I love weddings! Thats is going to be a busy busy weekend though!

I have been getting ready for our Garage Sale that we are having this weekend! And Boy...I didn't know how much work goes into having one! I hope it is a good turn out, and decent weather! The Garage Sale starts on Thursday and goes till Saturday!

Today we are going to the new house to get measurements for all the appliances! I've never had to pick out stuff like this before, so It's kinda fun! And...I'm very excited to get in the house again and see it and see what is accomplished and what still needs to be done! I really want to ask what day they will be pouring the driveway so that we can go over there and either put our hands in it, or Initials, or with the date we will be moving in! I remember we did this at my Mom and Dad's house and I think it's neat!

Did I mention this will be the ONLY time in a LONG time that we will be moving?! I've never had to move before, and man am I thankful! We have boxes in EVERY SINGLE ROOM! I have never seen our condo this disorganized and messy! I can't stand it. But...people keep telling me, it doesn't pay to try and clean and organize it right now, which I understand, but at the same time I can't live like this anymore! It makes me cranky, and I don't want to be cranky!! :)

Accepted!

It Happened, We finally sold the condo! We heard the news on Sunday (Our Anniversary) that the offer for our place went though, we then put an offer in on our new house and we heard today that it went though! So...It is official. We are MOVING! We are closing on the condo May 22nd and then closing on the new house later that day. One month exactly from today!

We are very pleased with our new home! It is the same "style" home that we had put an offer on before, and in the same neighborhood. It is a Madison mailing address but Windsor/Deforest School District, which we are thrilled about!

We even started packing already, we couldn't resist! Both bathrooms home decor and linen closet are all packed, except for the essentials we will need. It is a very good feeling to have a start on things.

We have a very busy month ahead of us, but we are looking forward to everything! We hope you all come and visit us in our new home!

One Year! Happy Anniversary, David!

Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husdand! One year ago today I married the most wonderful man! I can't believe it has been one year already, the time went by extremely fast!
Today David and I will be going out for an early dinner/late lunch. Mom and Dad VV will be coming over to hang out with Gavin. We are then going to be cutting into the top of our wedding cake tonight! I am very excited about that and I really hope it stayed good :)

We have another showing today! Between 4-5pm. We have been having at least 1 showing a week for the past month. sometime 2 showings a week! We have had two different offers so far, but none that we can afford to accept! Hopefully the right buyer will come along soon :)

Last night we went to Texas Roadhouse for David's Birthday. Mom and Dad VV took us out and Kristin, Chris, Lily and Nolan were there as well! It was a great evening and I think David had a very good birthday!

One last thing - Congrats to Jen and Brandon! Brandon proposed to Jen Tuesday Night! Jen is a long time friend of mine and she was a bridesmaid in my wedding! They are set to get marreid May 28th, 2010! We love you guys and can't wait for your big day!

Happy Birthday to my handsome, hardworking, generous, loving, brilliant, devoted, and caring husband!

Obviously I could go on and on about how remarkable my husband is and how lucky I am to have him and to have found the most perfect and amazing guy! As we draw closer to our one year anniversary I can't help but think how fortunate and blessed I am to have found him. He is a wonderful father and husband! I love you, David and I hope you have an incredible birthday!

Our Easter Weekend.

HAPPY 49TH BIRTHDAY, MOM/NANA! WE HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY! :)

We had a wonderful Easter Weekend! On Saturday we spent the day at Mom and Dad VV's house. We decorated easter eggs, had dinner and just hung out! This was the first time we had seen them since we all got back from our vacations so it was very nice to see them! This was Gavin's first time decorating easter eggs and he did a wonderful job :) He now asks all the time if we can decorate eggs! We might have to do it more then once a year :)Sunday morning at around 1:00am Gavin woke up and said he had an owie on his toe (something he usually does in the middle of the night) and he demanded a superman bandaid. When all of this was done with and he fell back to sleep I went and crawled back into bed. I was laying there and all of a sudden I remembered, I FORGOT TO FILL GAVIN'S EASTER BASKET AND HIDE IT! So there I am at 1:30 in the morning filling and hiding Gavin's easter basket! How could I have fotgotten to do that? Ugh! I was so thankful he woke up that night and I remembered that! Because...when he woke up Sunday morning he remembered that the Easter Bunny was supposed to come and he started looking for his basket! After he found his basket he played with all of his new things while David and I got ready to head to Neenah for Easter with my family and to celebrate my mom and David's Birthday!

When we got to Neenah we all had Easter Baskets that were hidden and we had to find them! Gavin loved this! He had to find three of them! He also found my dad's :) I was the last one to find my basket! After that we did an Easter Egg Hunt! David, myself, Matt and Ashley each had one egg to find and Gavin had 12! Again, I was the last one to find my egg :) I was so happy that it was so nice outside so we could do this!

Easter Weekend

Happy Good Friday!

This morning Gavin and I went to decorate Easter Cookies. It was pretty fun, except we didn't get much accomplished with Gavin. He took a bite out of every cookie he decorated! Oh well!

David and TJ are at the Brewers Home Opener Game right now! I have to admit, I am jelous! Shawna and I were supposed to get the four of us tickets and take the guys for an early Father's Day gift. The tickets were $150 each. We decided not to do it and did something else (more on that later :)) But this morning TJ asked David if he wanted to go, he said he had two tickets right behind home plate and they were $12 each! David couldn't pass it up, and boy am I glad we didn't end up getting the tickets for $150 each! Plus, David said he would have been pretty upset, that is too much money, and I agreed!

Right now Gavin and I are just hanging out of home. I am trying to get him to take a nap, as of now it is not looking like it will happen! We also have to boil eggs tonight to decorate tomorrow, and then we might be having some company over later, hopefully :) My cousin, Brit, might come down to Madison for the night!

Tomorrow we have Gavin's swimming lessons then egg decorating! I will update with pictures of that later!

Sunday we will be going to Neenah for Easter with my family! It is supposed to be beautiful out, so my mom is planning a fun easter egg hunt for Gavin. He is very excited for the easter bunny to come and he has been talking about it non stop for the past week!

Utah

We are finally back from Utah! We had an amazing time. We left on Tuesday evening and drove the entire way! We arrived at around 7:00pm on Wednesday evening. Thursday we got up and went snowboarding the entire day! It was one of the most amazing things I have ever done! The views were incredible and David and I both accomplished something we always wanted to do. Snowboarding in powder is 100 times different and better then snowboarding here in Wisconsin on ice! On Friday Shawna and I had a spa day while David and TJ went snowboarding again. Saturday it was time to head back to Wisco. and we come to find out that the interstate (I-80) was closed Saturday-? because of blizzards. I-80 is our main route. So we finally came up with a new route that led us through Idaho, Montana, North Dakota and Minnesota. 30+ hours later we were home with Gavin again! It was a very short but long trip at the same time! David and I missed Gavin like crazy, but it seemed like he had a great time with Aunt Ashley, Uncle Matt, Nana, and Grandpa!
