Gavin's first airplane ride!

We are in FLORIDA!

Sunday was Gavin's first airplane ride! He loved it so much! He giggled and laughed as we took off! He was so good on the plane! I knew he would be okay on the plane but he I didn't expect him to be as good as he was! I for sure didn't expect the reaction of laughs and giggles as we took off! The only time he got a little upset was when we were starting to descend to land! His ears were popping left and right! Poor babe, it's painful!
Here are a few pictures of Gavin's first airplane ride!
We are having a great time in Florida! Yesterday we went to Magic Kingdom and it was very magical for all! I will do more posts when we get home!

This is why I don't color my hair!!

I'll start out by saying that I had to make an appointment to get into my stylist (who I love and adore) over a month ago! She is always booked to the max! The appointment was for yesterday at 4pm. Around 12pm I got a call from the Salon saying that Brynn, my stylist, was going home sick. I didn't know what to do! They told me they could reschedule or else I could try and see someone else! We are going to Florida this weekend on Vacation and I really needed to get in for a trim anyways so I just decided to see someone else. Since Brynn is a Master Designer they said that they would still put me with a Master Designer, which put me at ease (a littlie)! I am one of those people that gets scared when someone I don't know/trust is doing my hair. God knows what it will end up looking like!
So yesterday at 3:30 I went in to get a color and cut! I brought lots of picture of what I wanted and the stylist told me what she recommenned and then got started. I trusted her and trusted that she knew what she was doing, since she is a Master Designer and that is the highest you can go! Well...for starters, she only did a partial highlight which I wish she would not have done! I would have like my whole head done! Needless to say, I AM NOT PLEASED! The highlights came out looking chunky and choppy, and it was not at all what I wanted! I cried. This is why I don't color my hair! So on my way home I called the Salon and explained to them that I was not happy, they understood and told me that I could come back and get it redone for FREE! SWEET!!
Well, my stylist I normally see, Brynn, wouldn't be back until Monday. I can't wait until Monday. I don't even want to leave my house the way it is looking like this! It gets worse...the only available stylist is an associate stylist. But...my hair can't get any worse so I'll take it! I'll just have to spend a day and a half with orange and gray looking, chunky/choppy highlights!

Our Easter Weekend

Happy Belated Easter! We had a great Easter Weekend! It all started Friday Afternoon when Gavin and I went over to Kristin's house to stuff Easter Eggs for the Easter egg hunt that we would have on Easter Day! The kids played, we stuffed eggs and then we all took a nice walk to the park! Friday Evening we went to church for the Good Friday service. It was such an amazing service. Very intimate, emotional, and worthy! It was the perfect way of remembrance on Good Friday! We then came home and colored and decorated easter eggs! (didn't get any pictures of that!)
Saturday morning we headed to Neenah for my families Easter. We went right to Matt & Ashley's house because we were told that the Easter Bunny stopped there for Gavin! Giving Uncle Matt Hugs! We then headed over to my Mom & Dad's. We did an outside Easter egg hunt that included Gavin and the adults! My mom went a little overboard on Easter for Gavin. She must have thought it was Christmas, Easter & his Birthday all rolled into one instead of just Easter! She then sent Gavin on three seperate Easter Egg/Scavenger hunts to fine 3 seperate Easter Baskets. She gave us the first egg and we would read the clue to Gavin. He would then go to that 'place' and find another egg with another clue inside leading to his easter baskets! It was pretty cute and Gavin loved it!
Gavin's 1st Easter Basket he found (Candy Basket) Gavin's 2nd Easter Basket he found (Clothes Basket)Gavin's 3rd Easter Basket he found (Toy Basket)Easter Morning Gavin woke up and looked for his Easter Basket that the Easter Bunny left for him. It was hidden under the table in the living room between the couches! It actually took him a little while to find it! We then headed off to Church! We then headed over to Mom and Dad VV's for a late lunch/early dinner! The kids also did their Easter Egg hunt!

It was a very nice Easter Weekend.

Modern Family

Does anyone else LOVE this show as much as my family does?! Modern Family has become a household favorite here and we look forward to it every week! Lately they have been having new episodes on and they are HILARIOUS!

Last night we missed the new episode of Modern Family because we had Doug & Kate Johnson over for dinner. We have not seen them since there wedding, almost a year ago! They have been pretty busy and they recently got back from the Olympics! Doug's Dad was the Coach for the Womens USA Hockey team this year! It was a great to hear all about it from them and to catch up!

Here is the last nights episode of Modern Family, just in case you missed it too :) Also, I love Hulu!
