Here are the pictures of the the 'paint job' we recently did! I am pleased with how it turned out. It looks nice with the furniture in the living room and goes well in the kitchen too! We still are not finished in the Living room area. David is making me coffee tables for in there, so those will be coming soon too!! Our next paint job will be the Family Room. Not sure when though :) Enjoy.

Lakehouse Pictures.

I was MIA with my camera all weekend :( Definately not like myself or David. Everywhere we went this weekend, when we were halfway there already, I remembered that I forgot the camera! Dad VV e-mailed over some pictures that him and Grandpa VV took. THANK YOU! We had a very nice family weekend with David's side! Here are a few pictures from yesturday at the Lakehouse! I know a few of you have asked to see the resent paint job and updates pictures so I will put those on later!

weekend plans

I just got done getting things ready for tomorrow. We are going to the Farmers Market in the Morning to meet Mom and Dad VV, Grandma and Grandpa VV, and Kristin and the Kids! We are then doing a round robin and having everyone over to our house for appetizers/lunch. Then heading to Kristin and Chris's for Dinner and finishing off @ Mom and Dad VV's for dessert! Grandma and Grandpa are in town for the weekend so it should be a very nice weekend. Sunday were are traveling to Elkhorn for a Birthday Party/Family Get Together with the other side of David's family!

Blue Eyes and Cupcakes

I just wanted to share this photo. I am amazed at Gavin's Blue Eyes! And the fact that his face is covered in cupcake! This picture was taken this past weekend at my mom and dad's. They hosted a Baby Shower, and if I am not mistaken Gavin had 4 cupcakes that afternoon!

Art Projects

We try to do a few Art Projects each week. Last week was a really cute one and I just wanted to share; I get alot of really cute ideas from http://www.cullensabcs.com/ It is a great site for ideas. I just love this site!I cut out this template and Gavin pasted everything together and colored it! He is very proud of his Giraffe!

Gavin Painting

Painting with Gavin today went well. It didn't last as long as he would have liked it to, but he did a good job. Listened well and paid attention to the details. He kept saying; "I need to wait for the drips to stop." Cute!

Painting Day!

This morning Gavin slept in until 8:30am! I didn't know what to do with myself. He did go to sleep pretty late last night though. We went out to Outback Steakhouse for Chris's birthday celebration! I think that we will have to start being more active at night so that he tends to sleep in more often!
Today starts the begining of another paint job! We are painting the living room and one more kitchen wall. The color is called; Ripe Wheat. It is a deep yellow. I hope it turns out, and I hope I like it :) I am going to start painting this afternoon and I know that Gavin is going to want to help so...I got him his own little brush and he will have his own little wall to paint. Im nervous, but confident that he will listen and do a good job, knock on wood! Wish me luck

boring friday

We are having a very boring Friday today and I love it. Gavin is currently sleeping in the car. Don't worry, the doors are open and I am typing this post in the doorway of my garage/house. This morning Gavin and I layed in bed until 10:00a.m. we wathced the news, CMT videos, and clifford. Again, I loved it! One of my favorite things to do while either getting ready in the mornings, cleaning, or just laying in bed being lazy is to turn on CMT in the background and watch the videos!

Yesterday was the funeral in Neenah. David came with, Gavin stayed back here in Madison and hung out with Mike for the evening! Sounds like they had lots of fun. Gavin somehow convinced Mike to stay at the park for an hour and a half, haha! I laugh because their is nothing to do at our park besides swing and go down the slides! They also went and had a happy meal at McDonalds, and played!

Tonight we are going out to dinner with TJ, and Shawna. We have gift certificates to use at Tutto Pasta and they expire on Aug. 19th. This is the only night we are free to go, besides a weeknight. It should be a nice evening out!

Tomorrow we are back on the road to Neenah! But not before a quick stop at the outlet mall in Oshkosh! Gavin is in desperate need of some news clothes and new shoes. Hopefully we will have some luck and find some good deals!

Sad News

Sad News; I found out yesterday that a very close friend of my family has past away :(

For those of you who do not know, I grew up on a street where everyone was like family- Literally! My parents moved to 331 Mark Ct. before my sister and I were even born, and they haven't left since! It is a very close neighborhood! I used to always ask my parents to move when I was growing up. Now I hope they never move! I truly love Mark Ct. and everyone in it. Unfortunately, it is a sad week for Mark Ct. It will truly never be the same! We lost someone who was known by all and who will never be forgotten. Scott Closhessy. I have so many memories of Scott that I will never forgot!

In other news;

We had a very nice weekend; On Saturday we had Doug and Kate's wedding! It was alot of fun and our last wedding for awhile, so that's nice! Mom and Dad VV watched Gavin while we were at the wedding! Sunday; Mom and Dad VV came over for dinner. We made Brisket! It was very good and we have lots of leftovers, so I better find some recipes to make with the rest of it.

Today my sister is coming to visit. She hasn't seem the house since we moved in! Hopefully she can help me pick out some paint colors today! I have no idea what to paint our bedroom, Gavin's bedroom, the baths, etc...It's hard!Thursday of this week we will be traveling to Neenah for the funeral, back that night and then back up their on Saturday for Heather's Baby Shower! We have a busy week and weekend ahead of us!

Ice Cream Sandwiches

We made Ice Cream Sandwiches for dessert tonight! Homemade chocolate chip cookies with cookie dough ice cream...YUM!

We got back yesturday afternoon from our 4th of July weekend up north. We had a really nice and relaxing time away. We lounged by the pond, we went boating, ate alot of food! Gavin played in the sand a lot, he took tractor rides, and we sat around the camp fire and chit chatted a ton!
