Cathing Up!

We've been taking advantage of our Dolphin's Cove membership with these hot few weeks we've had! The boys have been loving it. Gavin has become a pretty good swimmer. He's had no formal swimming lessons & we're trying to decide if we want to get him into swimming lessons now or not?!

Tball is going on right now for Gavin. He is enjoying it a lot. I think he's excited that it's his last year with a tee though :)

We had dinner at Quivey's Grove last Friday for fish. We called up mom and dad VV to see if they wanted to meet us there and it turned out that they had reservations for there that night too! It was delicious and a wonderful evening. Dad VV took a photo of us afterwards;

 Last Saturday I attended a baby shower for my dear friends, Emily.
She is due with a baby girl in September. Love these girls.

 Saturday evening we had a pudgie pie & s'mores get together!

 Gavin & Victoria are 2 peas in a pod lately!!

 I have a get together every Monday evening with girlfriends and we all watch the bachelorette together! I look forward to it every week and find myself counting down the days until Monday!

We're looking forward to the 4th of July festivities we have planned within the next week! 

Feelin Hot Hot Hot

Hello Summer! Well, not officially until tomorrow evening. It's been beautiful here this past week! Dare I say its been too hot though?! We'll see.

Last Friday we spent the morning/afternoon at the splash pad. The boys loved it!

 Friday evening we went out to dinner with friends!

 Yesterday Gavin had, Jake, a friend from school over to play. It's amazing what a $5 slip n' slip and a Whale Sprinkler can do for entertainment!!

The Whale sprinkler ended up on the trampoline!

4K Graduation

Gavin had his 4K Graduation last Wednesday. He is now officially in Kindergarten! We were so blessed to have had 2 amazing teachers for Gavin this year! We truly adored them.

A fellow Mom made this adorable cake that had the school on it!

It looks identical to their school! She did an amazing job!

 

The class sang 3 songs, All of them brought tears to my eyes!

It's such a bittersweet feeling! I'm so excited for Gavin to be going to Kindergarten, going to a new school, & meeting new friends. However, his 4k class was AMAZING & I'm so sad for him to be leaving some of those friendships! I know he will still see a lot of them pretty often and regularly, but the whole class had an amazing bond. I only Pray that we get that again & again!

Grammy & Papa came to Gavin's Graduation. Gavin & Papa were watching the slide show that was put together with a bunch of pictures from the whole year!

For the end of the year Teacher Gifts we did a few different things; I got both of his teachers a Target Gift Card, mainly because you can't go wrong with Target.

We also printed these prints and framed them for his teachers;

Baptism

Yesterday was a really special day for me!

 I decided to do something that I've wanted to do for a long time now!

 I got baptized as an adult!

 It was an amazing day!

 A day that I truly devoted my life to Jesus Christ.

 I can't even explain the feeling. Unlike anything else!

 I had two amazing friends, Jon & Ashley, baptized me. Jon is our Pastor & Ashely is his amazing wife. Jon and Ashley have been in our growth group from the start & are great friends of ours.

 So exciting.
