Grant turned 2 years old on Friday, March 22nd! I think it was a lot harder for me to see him turn 2 than it was when he turned 1! Two means his is a toddler. I no longer have a baby, and will I ever again?! Two means that he will be (hopefully) potty trained soon! Two means he will be transitioning to a big boy bed! He will be going on his 1st airplane ride in few weeks! There are so many milestones that he will hit at age 2 and, for a brief moment, it mad me really sad! But despitpe my saddness we celebrated our sweet 2 year old the way he should be celebrated!! We sang Happy Birthday to him every chance we got on Friday. Between breakfast and Dessert after dinner there was a candle in everything, and a chance for him to blow that candle out! He loved it.
Friday evening Dave and I took to boys to Veggie Tales Live! It was "Happy Birthday, Bob & Larry!" Theme, so it fit perfectly!
Saturday we did his Birthday Party with our families at a local Candy Store, Campus Candy! It was simple, sweet and perfect! With all the FroYo and toppings you could imagine! YUM.

Seeing your children get older and grow up is hard! Good thing I have an amazing Father-In-Law who captures moments like these for us!
