A weekend filled with 1st's!

We had the weekend of 1st’s around here. Saturday morning we took Gavin snowboarding for his 1st time! He loved it and he did an amazing job! He had the occasional falls here and there but by the end of the afternoon he wasn’t falling at all! We are so proud of him & he is pretty proud of himself too! Mom & Dad VV came with us to take pictures of Gavin snowboarding. It was wonderful to have them there with us! Dad VV also tried his take at snowboarding for the first time too! Brace yourself for lots of pictures & two videos!
Saturday evening was filled with 1st’s too! Gavin threw up for the first time EVER! It was around 10:45, Dave & I had just fallen asleep after watching the WONDERFUL Packer Game, & we hear Gavin crying in front of our bedroom door. I looked at him and he was covering his mouth! I immediately brought him to the toilet and he threw up! He also threw up in his bed prior to that; poor kid didn’t know what hit him! After cleaning his room, giving him a bath & having him settle down a bit we were back in bed by midnight! The next morning he wasn’t able to get out of bed or move anything on his body! His muscles were so sore from snowboarding! It was probably the 1st time he has really used all of his muscles at once and he was in a lot of pain! Other than that, we had a good weekend! Yesterday we finished painting all of Gavin’s room. It turned out great and we’re really pleased with it! Now on to the Baby room, Yah!
