Last weekend was spent in Neenah. Dave & Matt gutted & installed a new kitchen at my parents house! This picture below doesn't do the kitchen justice! It looks amazing. I went around and puttied everything in site! Needless to say, I was in desperate need of a manicure afterwards!
Aunt Ashley & Grant took a long afternoon nap together! So sweet.
We then headed to the park so the boys could play.
Gavin has been OBSESSED with catching butterflies lately, & he's good at it! The other night he caught 3 of them!

Last night Dave and I had Parent Orientation for Gavin's school! I can't believe he's going to be in Kindergarten. It was a lot of fun & I'm very excited for Gavin!  I even got a lot of reassurance on Gavin taking the bus! It's something I am so scared about (and really don't want him taking) & I have a lot of personal issues with it, but we're working on it ;)
We're looking forward to this weekend and spending time with Gpa&Gma VV!

Catch Up

-Intagram Style-
Yesterday was my wonderful husbands Birthday!! He turned the big -27-! Dad & Mom VV took the boys Saturday afternoon - Sunday afternoon! It was nice to spend time together, just the two of us! We went to church Saturday evening and then out for dinner & drinks with friends at a local Mexican Restaurant. Sunday morning we headed to Menards to order the rest of the materials (Shed Dood, Siding, etc..) to finish our shed in the backyard! Then took a quick trip to Costco to buy ourselves some NEW PILLOWS! We've been sleeping like crap for a few weeks so it was time we got new ones! I just have to say; I LOVE Costco! 2 pack of King Down Pillows for $15, and they rock!!!! I believe they are on sale until May 6th, Stock Up. I can't wait for November to come & have Costco be only 5 minutes down the road from us!!
We celebrated the afternoon at Mom & Dad's for lunch & then we came home for a nice relaxing evening! Dave & Grant even got to nap together :) Last Thursday Gavin had his first soccer game of the season! They lost :( Gavin was not happy about it! I guess it's time to talk about sportsmanship!! Grant has been obsessed with the dishwasher for awhile now! Gavin is learning about the Solar System in school right now! He LOVES it so much. Last Wednesday when we got home from picking Gavin up from school he asked me to scratch his back! I looked at it and this is what I found; Hives everywhere! It spread so fast too. We still have no idea what it's from!
UNO is a family favorite right now!
And tonight we are saying goodbye to our Yellow Painted Wall! Dave got 10 gallons of paint for free, so why not use it! I'm Loving using the Instagram App on my phone!

Pinterest Party

Last night a girlfriend of mine had a Girls Night/Pinterest party! GENIUS!
I know for myself, & many others, Pinterest is a great way to find wonderful ideas but I don’t ever seem to find the time to make the projects that I pin!! Hence having a Pinterest Party is the perfect way to get things checked off your list! She picked 3 projects that she wanted to do (kept it a surprise to the girls coming) & told us a few supplies to bring!
Here are what we did/had;
Frozen fruit skewers for champagne
Bunny Bait
Homemade Whipped Coconut Oil Body ButterPainted Frames - Great way to display kids artwork.
It was a lot of fun! Can't wait for the next Pinterest Party!

Easter Eggs

Thursday evening we decorated Easter Eggs.
Grant was doing a great job with his egg, until we spilt the dye everwhere! I saw the idea to put an egg in a whisk on Pinterest and it worked really well, until the dye was spilt!
Looking forward to Egg Salad next week!Last night we went to Good Friday service at Church! I love this service for so many reasons! I love that it is so deep and really forces you to reflect & remember! It saddens me what Jesus went through, but gives me great joy to know he is my savior! Have a WONDERFUL Easter and don't forget to reflect & remember!

Jell-O Beans

We came home with a Jell-O Bean mold on Sunday from Mom & Dad VV's. Since Sunday we've made 3 batches of these little poppers!
It's so easy & Fast. They harden up & are ready to eat within 30 minutes! I'm getting anxious to hide Gavin's Easter Basket. We're going to have to get very creative this year - he's so good at finding things! Monday afternoon was spent hiding Easter eggs over & over & over again! He always found every single egg. I for sure thought he would pass by these ones; NOPE!Dave got home early yesterday so we went on a walk/bike ride & I was even able to out my rollerblades on for the first time this year - ah..I love rollerblading! He's a picker!
