The Very Hungry Caterpillar Birthday Party

Grant’s 1st Birthday was wonderful. I couldn’t have asked for a better day. The Very Hungry Caterpillar theme was so much fun to do! So many things you can do with it.
Details;
We blew up 3 of his 1st Birthday pictures 4ftx3ft ($6.99 at Office Max in black & white) and Dave made frames for them. These were our main decoration for the party! I LOVED them! For $6.99 the quality was superb & they made a statement!
I got most of the other decorations from Target. I LOVE their new party line SPRITZ. It’s great quality, cheap & fun! I did make the tissue caterpillar myself & I’m very pleased with how it turned out!
We had everyone at the Party sign his book;The favors for the party were the Lollipops & The Very Hungry Caterpillar coloring pages.I only did the food that the caterpillar ate in the book, which was a lot of fun!
Dessert table; Chocolate cake, cherry pie & cupcake ice cream cones!Birthday Boy;Grant got amazing gifts. Lots of summer clothes (which he needed desperately), swimming suit, Step 2 picnic table, motorcycle, little tikes blower & push turtle, 1st crayola markers, bath essentials, a super cute hawaiian outfit & crocs from my godparents who just returned from Hawaii & money for his piggy bank!
Grant's smash cake.
Lastly we had everyone at the party take a picture with Grant! Loved doing this, I wish we would do this for every party.
Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate him, we are so blessed! Sorry for those who couldn't make it; we missed you!!

Love this theme! Actually I choose this theme too for my son's first birthday which is under a month away! I had a couple questions for you...did you make all of your signs yourself? Or order them from someone? Also where did you find the lollies? I am struggling to find good lollies to have on my candy table! Thanks! And you did an excellent job! LOVE the blown up picture idea! Wish we had an Office Max closer to us!
