This weekend was; powerful, motivating, beneficial, inspiring, Godly, I could go on & on...Heartland, our church, hosted our first ever Mom's Confrence!
Hot Mess Moms was the title/theme for the confrence, because we all know that we can be an utter HOT MESS quite often :)
Friday evening we had the pleasure of having Shauna Niequist come & speak to us! She was sooo inspiring!! Look her up. get her books(Cold Tangerines & Bittersweet). read them. & be changed!! seriously.
Saturday we had the wonderful Jodi Hickerson join us! She is such an amazing teacher, so down to earth & full of knowledge! If you ever get the chance to attend a Moms Confrence - DO IT! You won't regret it!

Saturday afternoon we had Caleb's 2nd Birthday Party. It was adorable. The theme was; Things That Go - so fun!

In between the hustle & bustle of Saturday we took a quick trip to Sam's & Costco. Dave & Gavin with 50lbs of rice. Yes, we bought it. Not for us. For Nicole :)

Saturday evening we headed to church for Compassion Weekend. Our church is now partnered with Compassion Interntional! Dave & I volunteered with our church & compassion to help get these wonderful kids sponsered!!
I would love to introduce our new sponsor child to you! Meet Willy;
Willy turns 5 on March 20th. He lives in Niarobi, Kenya! It was emotional & extremely neat for both Dave & I to do this.
Knowing that we took a child & his family out of poverty is just crazy to us!! Wish we could do it for more. We can't wait for the day that Dave & I can travel to Kenya to meet Willy & his family!!

Oh my gosh, Bryan and I decided to sponsor a child through compassion also this past weekend. We have a 4 year old little boy. So exciting!
