4th of July Weekend

We had a really nice 4th of July weekend. It was tremendously relaxing and just a really nice weekend spent together! Friday during the day my friend Jen came to visit for the day. We went to lunch and relaxed in the backyard while Gavin swam in his pool! Friday evening we took Gavin fishing at Mike’s house. It was nice to relax on the dock while the boys fished!(sorry no pictures) Saturday we went downtown for the day. We hit up the Farmers Market for the first time this year. We have been craving Stella’s Hot & Spicy Cheese bread! After that we walked down State Street, shopped a bit and then headed to Campus Candy! I wasn’t kidding when I said this is my new favorite place in Madison!! Gavin loved it! We all shared some Pomegranate & Green Apple Froyo, it was delish! We then walked down to the Union to relax for a bit! Our afternoon ended with a stop at Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop! It really was the perfect day! Saturday night the 4 of us watched Rhythm & Booms fireworks! It was such a great display of fireworks & we were home within 10 minutes, even better!Sunday we headed to church and then over to Mom and Dad VV’s for the rest of the day! On Monday we watched the DeForest 4th of July Parade with the Moll’s & Britto’s! Gavin got quite the loot of candy.

This nice man insisted on holding Grant. It was very sweet!Mom and Dad VV came over for a late lunch Dave & I then took the boys to the DeForest fireworks that evening! We couldn’t have asked for a better 4th of July Weekend! We have a big weekend coming up. We will be going Camping with 3 other families! Can’t wait.
