What have we been up to?
Well, Dave has recently become a RUNNER! He is training for the Chicago Marathon coming up on 10-10-10!! We are REALLY looking forward to that! This past weekend Dave and Dad VV ran the Madison Mini Marathon! 13.1! I am proud to say that they both did a wonderful job! It was the first race for both of them! Dave finished 575 out of 3884!

Dave has also been working a lot. The project he is working on now is a $10 million dollar home on Lake Mendota here in Madison. The house is 10,000+ square feet! It is a year+ project and I am so proud of my husband and I love so much to see how God works with his talents! One of Dave's spiritual Gifts is definitely CRAFTSMANSHIP!
Gavin is getting so big! He continues to amaze Dave and myself everyday with the things he does and says! He is obsessed with country music. He knows every single song that comes on the radio or CMT and sings he heart out! He loves to sit with his guitar in the kitchen and strum to every tune he knows! Gavin is at the age where he could be going to Preschool this year. Although, we have been praying very hard about this, Dave and myself opted not enroll him with a preschool this year. We decided that we are more than capable to do it ourself. The only reason we would put him into preschool would be for the interaction with other kids, and he gets that with our playgroups and friends so we are very happy with our decision! PLUS we are saving $275 a month! Isn't that crazy! Next year Gavin will go into a 4k program and we are really looking forward to that!
What else is new with Gavin?!
Well...This past weekend, after Dave's race, we took Gavin into the doctor. Gavin broke his colar bone! The night before he fell down a few stairs. He didn't cry much and seemed fine that evening. But the next morning when we tried to dress him or pick him up he would scream! Poor Babe! He is doing good now. The doctor said that colar bones heal by itself within 3-6 weeks! He got a super cool dinosaur sling that he loves and wears it when he needs it!
What about Me?! Well I am really looking forward to Fall! This summer has just been way to hectic for me to even enjoy! We have our last wedding of the summer this coming weekend and I am really looking forward to that! I have recently had great opportunities come my way, Some I have said YAY, some I have said NAY! It seems that God really wants to put me down a different path than I am on right now. So we are praying everything happens just how it is supposed to!
Here are pictures of everything I talked about and then some :)
