Gavin and Church

Gavin is sick. He has a cold. The same cold that I had, the same cold that Dave had and now Gav has it. It's Sunday Morning and he doesn't sounds good. Therefore he is staying home from church and he is NOT happy about it.
We told him this morning that Mommy was going to go to church and that Daddy was going to stay home with Gavin. He didn't like that very much.
I'm telling you I DO NOT like it when parents bring in their sick kids around other little ones and get them sick! But my heart sunk when Gavin was crying saying, "I just want to go to church! Please let me go to church!"
In the end Dave and Gavin stayed home from church this morning and all is good.
I pray Gavin ALWAYS wants to go to church. I pray that he never puts up a fuss about it and that he grows to have an amazing relationship with God.
