For about three months now (I know, it should have been sooner) we have been doing bedtime prayers with Gavin. We start out by thanking God for everything that he has given us, we go through every family member and close friends, we then do prayer reguests and after that we wrap it up with asking Gavin if he is thankful for anything else. Every night he usually has 2 or 3 extra things that he is thankful for. And these are all random things! One night he goes, "Dear God thanks you for Mike, he is my best friend." Very Random! He usually always says, "Dear God, Thank you for Lily." And Last night was a different and new one that he has never said before..."Dear God, Thank you for wipeout." I tried so hard not to laugh because we are trying to teach Gavin that prayer time is a serious time. It was so cute and he was so serious! He never seems to amaze me. I need to start writing down his 'personal' prayers and documenting them!
In other news...Until last week Gavin had no idea what a sleeping bag was. He loves his sleeping bag and I wanted to share a few pictures of him playing in it.

Also, this week has been Shark Week on the Discovery Channel. I have to admit we are a little addicted to it! We have been catching a few episodes of stuff here and there and everytime we have time to watch it we are glued to the t.v. it is soo interesting!
