Bedtime issues!

It's a lonely evening tonight. David is at his softball game this evening :( I'm sad we weren't able to go. The game started at 8:10pm and I thought that would be too late for Gavin. We wouldn't have gotten home until 10:00 or so.. and I want him to have a good night sleep!

Lately Gavin has not been going to bed like he used to. Usually we would tell him that it is time to brush his teeth and get ready for bed, we give him a sippy cup of warm milk and he would be out! Not lately, he does not want to get ready for bed, and hates the whole process. And, he wants to get rocked to bed. The only thing we hear when we mention anything about bedtime is, "rocka, rocka, rocka." Well, my husband who is a softy to Gavin, rocks him to sleep. I dont think it's a good idea to give into him, ecspecially at bedtime when we WERE on a perfect routine! But...tonight, David wasn't home to put Gavin to bed with me so I thought I would try and let him go to sleep on his own again, like he used to. It worked!!! Gavin did cry for about 2 minutes, but then fell right to sleep! Hopefully this will continue! Anyways... We have a busy rest of the week and next couple weeks!

First off, Tomorrow Gavin is having a playdate with Jackson and Brynn Martin! More so Jackson than Brynn, she is only a few weeks old! It should be lots of fun and I will hopefully post some pictures of it tomorrow!

Second, My mom is coming to stay with us for a few days starting on Thursday. My Grandma (Granny) is coming down tomorrow for about three weeks. She will be staying at UW hospital and getting her Stem Cell transplant! Very excited for this to happen, it's a very emotional and wonderful gift she is getting. My Granny has Multiple Myeloma (bone cancer). Although it is not curable she is getting a great gift from her TWIN sister! My aunt Judy is a perfect match for her. The best gift anyone could get/give and ask for. Please pray that everything goes smoothly for the both of them.

Third, Chris, Kristin, Lily, and Nolan are moving back this coming week! It is very exciting for all of us! We are thrilled that they will be closer and we will have more people to hang out with and do more stuff with!

WOW sorry that was so long! I am gonig to go get ready for bed and wait for my hunny to get home!
