LIFE
I've been in a blogging slump lately! Not sure why? Not sure if its because I don't know what to blog about or if I'm just not in the mood, but I hope I start blogging again regularly soon! We had a very nice weekend and maybe I'll blog about that later in the week. But for now...We are watching LIFE and it is truely AMAZING!

weekend recap
For the first time this year we have reached above 50 degrees! I'm loving it. Gavin's loving it. Dave's loving it!
Thursday I headed to Neenah to meet up with Jen and Linds. We are finalizing the plans for Jen's Bachelorette Party! I am getting so excited for her & Brandon to get married and start their life together as husband & wife! Jen's sister, Jessie, just had a baby and I was able to see him! He is such a little peanut! I have never held a baby as tiny as he was, I love getting my baby fix in :)
Baby Brayden
The Bride & Groom to be with their new nephew!
Proud Auntie Jen!
Friday afternoon when I got home Dave, Gavin & I took down our Christmas lights, finally! We have been waiting for it to get nice out and it finally was! After that Dave put together our fire pit that we got for Christmas! He has been patiently waiting to put it together! And of course he had to try it out :) So Friday evening we had a campfire outside!
Saturday Morning we went to Church for FAMILY FUSION! This years Family Fusion was March Madness Family Style. It was filled with high energy, sports themed experience where we focused on obedience, commitment & respect as a family and with Gavin! It was a lot of fun to do that with him! Saturday was also Mom VV's Birthday!! That evening we went out to dinner at Red Robin to celebrate!
Sunday after church we headed downtown to the St. Patrick's Day Parade! Gavin had a lot of fun catching candy with Lily & Nolan!
It was a very good weekend and I am looking forwards to this weekend too! I have a feeling this week is going to go by REALLY SLOW! I hope I am wrong.

Our Weekend Visit
Saturday my Dad and Mom came to visit! It was really nice to have them. They haven't been to Madison since Gavin's 3rd Birthday. With my dad's surgery and all it was hard for them to get here! Now that he is doing a lot better hopefully we will have them to Madison more often!
Saturday evening Dave & I, along with 7 other couples from church all got together for dinner! It was so much fun getting to know other families/couples at our church. We had such a good time! Gavin got to spend a nice evening with Nana & Grandpa!
We did lots while they were here, lots if bumming around! We even got Gavin his first BIKE!! Dave & I originally wanted to get him a bike from Santa, but felt bad because Gavin wouldn't have been able to ride it. So we decided since the weather is getting nicer we would get him a bike & helmet!
He loves his helmet! The bike on the other hand he isn't too fond of. He told us to take it back to the store!
It is just a tad big right now and with trianing wheels on it, it kinda tipped a little when he got on for the first time. He did not like that! Hopefully by full spring & summer it will fit him just right and he will love it! If not....Looks like we need to get the smaller size :/He did, however, have a great time on his moped that Nana & Grandpa got home for Christmas!
Our Sunday was pretty lazy! After church we just came home, got comfy clothes on and relaxed all day! It was perfect!

Feeling close to 'him'
We have been going to Heartland (our new church) for about one and a half months now. One and a half months isn't alot, but it sure seems like we have been there for a long time! I can honestly say that I have never felt closer to God. Close to him in ways I never have before.
You see, my religion backgroup isn't much. I grew up Catholic. We went to church here and there and on the Holidays. I was Baptized, had my First Communion and I got Confirmed. Growing up Catholic I never really understood 'it' or 'him'. For one, it was so hard for me to pay attention. And two, I never really understood what I was being 'taught'.
Since we have been going to Heartland and have learned so much. I've learned so much about God, Myself, My Husband, My Family, My Life in general!! So yes, I can honestly say that I have never felt closer to God then I do today. And I know it will grow. It grows everyday! I learn something new everyday.
The series that we are doing it church right now on 'The ME I Want To Be' has really taught me alot about The ME I WANT to be; The ME God WANTS me to be. It's inspirational!
