You see, my religion backgroup isn't much. I grew up Catholic. We went to church here and there and on the Holidays. I was Baptized, had my First Communion and I got Confirmed. Growing up Catholic I never really understood 'it' or 'him'. For one, it was so hard for me to pay attention. And two, I never really understood what I was being 'taught'.
Since we have been going to Heartland and have learned so much. I've learned so much about God, Myself, My Husband, My Family, My Life in general!! So yes, I can honestly say that I have never felt closer to God then I do today. And I know it will grow. It grows everyday! I learn something new everyday.
The series that we are doing it church right now on 'The ME I Want To Be' has really taught me alot about The ME I WANT to be; The ME God WANTS me to be. It's inspirational!

My husband grew up Catholic and he said the same things. Everything became monotonous for him and he didn't understand a lot about God or his faith. He started attending church with me about a year into our relationship and he said it was like a light had been turned on. I'm so glad you guys have found a church you love!

How wonderful! I was listening to my christian music on the way home from work today, and I was thinking the same thing. So blessed, and feel so close to the Lord!
