Halloween Weekend

We had a really nice weekend here in the Vander Velde household!
Friday during the day we had our PB&J Halloween Party with friends. It’s always fun to see all the kids together, dressed up and having fun! Before we left for the party I was finally able to get a good picture of Gavin & Grant together in their costumes! A Big 'Pirate' Brother with his Little 'Parrot' Brother;
Friday evening we waited for the arrival of Nana & Grandpa! My mom and dad came to visit for the weekend! Of course they didn’t come empty handed either. They brought with them Halloween baskets for the boys and they were open within 5 minutes of them walking in the door! Saturday morning we headed to Costco, a ritual when my dad is in town, he loves that place! After Costco we headed downtown to the Farmers Market!
We ended the day carving pumpkins with the family. Even Mom and Dad VV came over to help and love on the boys!! Gavin loved it & Grant didn’t know what to think of it. Dave's pumpkin!! This morning before church we headed to Market Street Diner for breakfast. I had the best scrambler with egg, spinach, bacon, feta, parmesan, It was so delish! Mom and Dad VV met us at church and after they came over to give the boys their Halloween Gifts! Our boys have such wonderful, gracious and loving grandparents! Mommy & Daddy got a Halloween present too!!Tomorrow is Halloween!! Gavin gets to wear his Halloween costume to school for their Halloween party, he’s pretty excited. Hopefully we can get some good pictures of our day!
Have a safe Halloween!

Oh my gosh. That might be the cutest costume idea I've ever seen. If our next child's a boy (whenever it happens), I might have to steal it! Your boys are so precious.
