First off, thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. It means alot to my family and I! My dad is doing okay. The surgery itself went really well! He is still in the hospital recovering. Yesterday was a rough day, he is not able to keep anything down. His stomach is just not ready yet. They had to change his 'diet' back to just water and ice chips. Hoping he will be able to go home this week either Wednesday or Thursday, which is alot longer then we thought he would be there, but his body is not ready yet and it takes time! (This is where I would put pictures up, but I am on strict orders not to put pictures of him on here! He wouldn't like that. So..I'm respecting Dad's wishes :)
What have I been doing the past 3 days-
Besides being at the hospital with my dad, mom & sister,
For Christmas my sister got me concert tickets to one of my favorite artists - Phil Vassar!
This was my 5th time seeing him in concert and probably one of the best! It was an acoustic show, very intimate, and personable! He took requests the entire night from the audience! It was amazing! Ah, I love Phil Vassar! Thanks, Ash!
Sunday -
I woke up bright and early to go visit and say goodbye to my dad. I wanted to head home early! I missed my boys soo much! Being away from both of them for 3 whole days sure made me miss them! And...we also wanted to make it to church in time! Church was WONDERFUL. Right now is; Crash Course on Christianity and we are focusing on Jesus. Todays lecture was about sinning. It was very good! Gavin seemed to have a wonderful time in Children's Ministry (Launch)! His class is called 'Moon Walkers' and his teacher is Kelsey! She is a sweetheart, but honestly everyone at this church is wonderful. Today was exactly like last Sunday; Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming!
