zoo.swimming lessons.rain

Friday was so beautiful here! I decided to take Gavin to the Zoo. It was so nice, we just walked around (NO STROLLER!!!!) and looked at everything, He mainly wanted to see the giraffe's so we spent a lot of time in there! Did you know that baby giraffes are seperated from their parents until they are fully grown? Otherwise the parents tend to 'beat them up' and corner them. How sad! The Zoo was SO busy. I know it was 55 and sunny, but still, I thought Gavin and I were going to be the only few there!
Gavin had his first swimming lessons on Saturday! It went really well. He really seemed to like it, except the water in the big pool was so cold! They have a kids pool area and the water is seriously like bath water! Gavin had so much fun in that area, they have a slide and quite a few water toys in there, very shallow too!!! Saturday it rained ALL day long! We had Jess over for dinner on Saturday, we haven't seen her in so long, so it was very nice to catch up! Gavin fell asleep at the dinner table and was out for the night! Sunday morning he woke up and asked where Jessie was. It was cute!
Sunday again...it rained all day!! But..I sure am glad it was rain and not snow like some of you got!
This week I will be traveling to Neenah on Wednesday for my Aunt Pat's Funeral. David will be staying back to work and Gavin will be spending the day with Reilly. My dad is not able to attend, nor is my sister (she is in Mexico!!!!) So it will be me and my mom!
