Day 2

Our Growth Group is reading the book of Proverbs right now. We started yesterday. Since there are 31 days in March we are reading a chapter a day! It's been a great way for me to take time out of my day to really sit, reflect & make time for HIM!

Catch Up

I'd like to say that we've been SUPER busy, and that's why I haven't been blogging, but we havent! I just haven't had the energy to sit down and blog - about nothing really! So this is going to be quite the catch up!

-The new Spring Catalog for Thirty-One Gifts came out February 1st! You can check out the new Catalog here! I've been pretty busy with parties during the week. Nicole & I did an open house for 31 & Poplin last week Thursday! It was a great turn out & so much fun!

-I've been trying to get thing checked off the To-Do List for Grant's 1st Birthday Party! It's fast approaching - 23 Days and out little boy will be 1!!

-We had his 1st Birthday/1 yr Pictures taken last weekend! Yes, it was a little early but I needed the pictures for his party! (I'll share those in a seperate post)

-On Sunday we did Family Dinner with Dave's family at our house! We got to see & love on Baby Ella for awhile! I would love to start doing family dinners weekly :)

- I haven't highlighted it since September (right before my sister's wedding)! It was in desperate need of being done, but I kept putting it off because I didn't really feel like forking out $150 to get it done! I basically had natual Ombre hair!! I was complaining about my hair to a friend and she suggested having her daughter come to my house to do my hair!!!! So last night she came over! It was PERFECT. I didn't have to leave the house. I got a ton of work done & it wasn't $150!! I love how it turned out. I will probably do this from now on :) Thanks Amber!!

(Since I have lots of hair, a full foil takes quite some time. So when our Growth Group started to show up last night I still looked like this; :) It was pretty comical!

- I've been helping plan our 1st Mom's Confrence at our church! It's titled; Hot Mess Mom!!! It's March 9th & 10th! If you are going to be in the Madison Area that weekend PLEASE consider coming!! 11 Months Old

One month & our little boy will be 1!! This mama has lots of mixed emotions about him turning one!! He's growing up so fast. He is only on 1 bottle a day, before bed! He is no longer on Formula, vitamin D/whole milk it is!! He is not walking yet, but I am guessing he will be by his 1st Birthday! He still only has 2 teeth, but the top 2 are SO close to popping through! He's a great eater - He really is a bottomless pit & eats SO much food! I'm anxious to have his 1 yr appointment to see his stats.

He's such a happy boy!! He's a blessing & brings so much Joy to our life! Can't wait for his 1st Birthday!!

Valentine's Day!

Happy (1 day early) Valentine's Day!
Gavin's 2012 Valentine;
Grant's 2012 Valentine;The boys got a Valentine's Day package in the mail on Thursday from Nana & Grandpa! Gavin was at school when it came & Grant I couldn't wait to open it :) So I took a few pictures of Grant opening it by himself, and then packed it all back up and waited for Gavin to come home and open it again!!
We had our play group Valentine's Party on Friday! 30+ kids & 15 moms! Ahhmazing. The theme was LOVE ROCKS!The wonderful hostess!My Mom Loves Me This Much! Gavin's loot of Valentine's!Rockstar Glasses!Yesterday Grammy & Papa came over for the afternoon! They gave the boys their Valentine's (sad-I didn't get any pictures of it!) & we hung out for awhile. Gavin showed them his "skills" on Mario Kart Wii. (Grant wanted to share in the fun too!)No plans for Valentine's Day tomorrow! BUT, I do want to go see The Vow this weekend with my love! I CAN'T WAIT to see it! Happy Valentine's Day!
