This past weekend was pretty low key! Friday evening and Saturday morning I had to work! On Saturday morning Dave took Gavin to an easter egg hunt with Kristin, Lily, Nolan, and Mom and Dad VV! From the pictures it looked like Gavin had a good time! He is excited for more easter egg hunts next weekend and he is super excited for the Easter Bunny to come!Saturday evening Mom and Dad VV watched Gavin so Dave and I could go out to dinner! We had a great evening out.
Sunday after church we came home and put up Gavin's Trampoline! He is loving it. We got it up just in time for this weeks nice warm weather!We also made and decorated cupcakes yesterday! Decorating tunred into a food fight with the cupcakes and frosting! Check out all the frosting in Dave's ear! hahahaAnd then he got me back!

We are looking forward to this weeks nice warm weather! It is supposed to be in the 70's!! To bad I have to work 3 evenings this week :(
This coming weekend is sure going to be busy! Friday we will go to church (Good Friday) and then Saturday we will head to Neenah to have Easter with my side of the family and then drive back to Madison Saturday evening! Wake up for Church on Sunday and then head over to Mom and Dad VV's for Easter! Whew..I am exhausted just thinking about it!

And so it begins!

When we moved into our house last May we knew that this coming spring 2010 we would want/have to do landscaping. Lets face it, our yard was in rough shape when we moved it!The first day of spring was Saturday and Dave wasn't wasting any time! So we started the brick patio in the backyard! We have to do the brick patio first before we can extend our deck up top! It's exciting but at the same time I feel like we are losing our precious yard space! A good yard is hard to come by in the Madison area! Not like we have nice yard space anyways but now we don't have much at all with the wooded area being there too! Dave keeps reminding me that we have a park right next door! Here are some pictures of my boys working hard :) The weather got a lot nicer as the day went on ;)

A couple of weekends ago we ran to the mall for something and the Easter Bunny was there. Gavin wanted to sit in his lap and tell him what he wanted for Easter. You will never guess what he said?!

A SCARECROW. seriously?! Where am I going to find a scarecrow in March?! and more importantly..why on earth does he want a scarecrow?! Honestly, the weirdest things come out of a 3 yr olds mouth!

LIFE

I've been in a blogging slump lately! Not sure why? Not sure if its because I don't know what to blog about or if I'm just not in the mood, but I hope I start blogging again regularly soon! We had a very nice weekend and maybe I'll blog about that later in the week. But for now...We are watching LIFE and it is truely AMAZING!

For the first time this year we have reached above 50 degrees! I'm loving it. Gavin's loving it. Dave's loving it!

Thursday I headed to Neenah to meet up with Jen and Linds. We are finalizing the plans for Jen's Bachelorette Party! I am getting so excited for her & Brandon to get married and start their life together as husband & wife! Jen's sister, Jessie, just had a baby and I was able to see him! He is such a little peanut! I have never held a baby as tiny as he was, I love getting my baby fix in :)

Friday afternoon when I got home Dave, Gavin & I took down our Christmas lights, finally! We have been waiting for it to get nice out and it finally was! After that Dave put together our fire pit that we got for Christmas! He has been patiently waiting to put it together! And of course he had to try it out :) So Friday evening we had a campfire outside! Saturday Morning we went to Church for FAMILY FUSION! This years Family Fusion was March Madness Family Style. It was filled with high energy, sports themed experience where we focused on obedience, commitment & respect as a family and with Gavin! It was a lot of fun to do that with him! Saturday was also Mom VV's Birthday!! That evening we went out to dinner at Red Robin to celebrate!Sunday after church we headed downtown to the St. Patrick's Day Parade! Gavin had a lot of fun catching candy with Lily & Nolan!It was a very good weekend and I am looking forwards to this weekend too! I have a feeling this week is going to go by REALLY SLOW! I hope I am wrong.
