Happy New Year's Eve to All!

Happy New Year's Eve to all!
2008 has been a year filled with many memories, mostly all good :);
-David and I got Married in April and took our honeymoon in Punta Cana!
-My Grandma had multiple myeloma and is now CANCER FREE!
-We have made some truly wonderful, lifelong friends!
-Gavin turned 2!
-Most of all, we are all healthy!!!

Hears to another wonderful year in 2009!
I can't wait to see what '09 has in store for our family! We already have dates on the calendar for '09. 2008 was a very busy year to us, so hopefully '09 will be a little less hectic for our Family!

Today I will be driving to meet my Parents who are going to be watching Gavin overnight tonight! David and I will be ringing in the new year with great friends! We will be going to Cascade Mt., we are looking very forward to this! We did the same thing last year for New Years and had a BLAST! They have fireworks as well, so it should be a good time.

We hope everyone has a safe and happy New Years Eve!

Our Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas Holiday!
Christmas Eve
We got to Neenah around 11:30am. I helped my mom get everything ready for our Family Christmas and we just hung out for a couple hours. At around 2:30pm Matt and Ashley got there and we started our Family Christmas. At around 3:00pm we heard a knock at the door and it was Santa! He came to drop of special presents for everyone! A dear family friend wanted to dress up as santa and come see Gavin. It was really neat to see the look on Gavin's face and it was a much better experience then what we had at the Mall when we went to see santa! So after santa left we finished our family Christmas then went to my Aunt and Uncles for the Hackstock Family Christmas! It was alot of fun and it was really nice to relax and see everyone that we haven't seen in awhile! We also did a gift steal and I walked away with a really nice Tommy Hilfiger Purse, I just LOVE it!Christmas Day
We got up early and drove back to Madison so we could see what Santa brought Gavin! He walked inside and saw lots of presents with his name on it :) We then headed over to Mom and Dad VV's for the day to have our Family Christmas with them and Chris, Kristin and the kids! It was a very nice and relaxing day!
I hope you enjoyed looking at a few of the pictures from our Christmas!

Video's from Friday!

Here are some video's of last Friday! Gavin had insisted on making muffins at 5:30 in the morning! I mean insisted, coming into our bedroom and flipping on the lights and taking our covers off! We were not to happy, but muffins at 5:45am happened!

The other video is of Gavin and Reilly playing in the bounce house! This entertained then for the longest time!

Christmas Comes So Fast!

We've had a busy past week and weekend! Friday we went over to the Jobke's to bake all day. We made fudge, buckeye's, peanut butter balls, and bark. The boys played all day and watched a movie and then David and TJ set up Gavin's bounce house for the boys to play in, and they loved it! It was a great way to spend a cold day inside! We did not get to decorating Christmas Cookies, so we are going over there tomorrow morning to finish that up!
Saturday we finished up all our Christmas shopping and ran errands! That night we took a trip to costco with the Jobke's. I have not been into a costco in so long and we usually go to Sam's Club, so it was nice to see the difference between the two! Costco has much more variety, but Sam's is cheaper!
This evening we had my work Christmas party at Prime Quarter! It was a lot of fun and we had a really good time! It is nice to put names to a few faces. We all work from home so not everyone knows eachother all that well! I really enjoy my work outings and they seem to be getting better and better :)This week is going to come and go really fast :( The week that I want to be the longest throughout the year always goes by the fastest! Christmas is my favorite time of year and I hate to see it just come and go so quickly!

One Week

One week from today and we will be heading to Neenah for Christmas Eve! I can't believe Christmas came so fast this year. Once you have child it seems like everything comes and goes so fast! I still have to get a few little things for Christmas presents and then finish up all the wrapping. It will be here before we know it, so I better not delay any longer!
Yesturday Gavin spent the afternoon at Reilly's house. I had a few different appointment yesturday so Shawna and TJ were so kind to let Gavin come over and play for awhile and then David picked him up from there at around 2:30. He said he had alot of fun and played with all of Reilly's fun toys! Reilly gave Gavin his birthday presents yesturday, too! He got a really neat remote control race car that goes on the wall, it's really cool! He also got the game, Let's go fishin. He LOVES it! I recommend this game for all 2 year olds! It says ages 4+, but I think those are all way off. The game is a great way for them to concentrate on their colors and numbers at the same time! Gavin picked up on it right away and has not stopped playing it! At 5:30am this morning he woke up and the first this he said was, "play fishin with me, mom?" It was pretty cute! Have a good day!
