8 Months Old

Last week Grant turned 8 Months Old!! I’m a bit behind on his 8 month post, but the pictures were taken on the 22nd!
I’m kind of glad I waited because now I can share that our little guy finally has a tooth!! My dad actually found it on Saturday, it had just popped through and was as pointy as can be!!! He is also SOOO close to crawling! He gets on all fours, moves his hands and knees a few times and then falls flat! gets back up and tried to do it all over again!
Love the drool :)He started raising his hands in the air when we say,"YAY, Praaaaise Jesus!!!"He Loves it!We have a couple of busy weeks coming up;
*Tonight Dave and I are headed to Phil Vassar!!
*I have 3 Thirty-One Gifts Parties!
* We are in full swing of planning for Gavin’s 5th Birthday Party!
*Our Christmas Shopping is 60% done!
* We are hosting our PB&J (play, join & bond) Play Group Christmas Party again this year, & planning for that is underway!
*We NEED to make baby gates!!
* I’m trying to convince my husband to let us take Gavin to Discover the Dinosaurs this weekend because the little boy below REALLY wants to go!!!

Another Year Older!

I had such an amazing birthday!
Here are just a few of my favorite birthday presents that I received this year;
Cole got me this great necklace with the boy's names on it! I've wanted one for such a long time & I cherish it so much! I love my new Herringbone TOMS! So comfortable and such a good cause! One For One!!!Phil Vassar Tickets!! Dave even left me these little notes all over the place for me that day. I found them on my Chai in the fridge, in Grant’s car seat, in my makeup bag, on the Christmas tree, on my computer, in the van, etc…they were everywhere he knew I would go! He knows just how to make my day special, even if he was at work the whole day!
That night we headed to Ian’s Pizza for some dinner and then headed over to Campus Candy for my free birthday fro yo! Ian's Pizza is known for their crazy pizza's and mainly for thier Mac n Cheese Pizza, which is devine, but when we went they were also seaving Thanksgiving Pizza! It had stuffing, cranberries, roasted turkey and green bean casserole on it! It may sounds gross, but it was REALLY good! A great idea for leftovers :)Last night we had dinner with Mom and Dad VV for my birthday!! We went to Vintage Brewing Company! It was the first time I had ever been there and it was delish! For my birthday they got me a this pretty little thing; You can bet I am heading to JoAnn Fabric on Friday for some deals!
Thanksgiving is coming up on us in just a few days! I’m looking forward to some Turducken, along with the normal Thanksgiving spread! Thursday we will be at Mom and Dad VV’s & Saturday we will be hosting Thanksgiving for my side of the family! There is plenty to be Thankful for.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Oh My Hannah, can I tell you how difficult it is picking out a Christmas Card!! I feel like I have 'projects' saved at 6 different places, trying to decide which Christmas Card to go with!
Here are some of my favorite pictures that my FIL took of us this year! I wanted Red & Rustic and he delivered :) All of our Christmas stuff is up from the basement and ready to be on display! I love decorating for Christmas. Since tomorrow is my birthday I think I'll go and treat myself to a few new Christmas decorations :) Happy 25 to me!

Eventful, to say the least!

Looking back at our weekend I am still in awe of everything we had going on and how we managed to get it all in! Friday evening was our ‘low key’ night of the weekend. We got laundry done, grocery shopped, and cleaned a bit. Saturday was pretty jam packed for us. We started our day with our family pictures. Dad VV took them and I could not be more in love with how they turned out! I will post some later!
After pictures we headed to Nolan’s 4th Birthday Party (Wisconsin Badger Themed). It was nice to relax, watch the Badger game and celebrate him!!That evening Gavin, Papa, Nolan & Chris all went to the Badger Basketball Game! Gavin then had a sleepover at Nolan’s house! Grant spent the evening with Grammy because Daddy & Mommy had another Birthday Party to go to!! Dave & I left Nolan’s Birthday Party and headed downtown to meet up with friends for Nicole’s Birthday! We had dinner at Frida’s Mexican Grill, They have the best Mango Margarita’s EVER!! We then went to the Comedy Club that night and saw Andy Kindler. I was not impressed with his act, but we still had such a good time!
Sunday was Baby Shower Day! Nicole & I hosted a Baby Shower for two sweet friends of ours that are both pregnant with boys and due around the same time. It couldn’t have turned out cuter! The theme was "Little Guys in Ties"Tie Cookie Favors for all the guests;One of the games we played was called Baby Picasso; We gave all guests a crayon and a piece of paper. They had to close their eyes and draw the best baby they could. Both mom's got to pick their favorite and winners got a gift! It was so funny!

Halloween

Halloween 2011 has come and gone! Hope everyone had a great day. We had a wonderful day here; Gavin was so excited to dress up in general, it didn’t matter what he wore! That morning for breakfast he had on a Franklin the Turtle costume! We then got him all dressed up and ready for his school Halloween Party! We had two pirate costumes for Gavin so he chose a different one to wear to school and that night trick or treating! I like this one better too! He truly take the priate role/charachter seriously!
Love my little Pirate!His whole class! 19 kids!!Last night Dave and Gavin went trick or treating with Jeff & Jackson (our neighbors). They were gone for almost 2 hours! Both boys came back with their Halloween buckets filled to the top, no joke! Grant was sleeping when they left to go trick or treating so he wasn’t able to go, but that’s okay, It was pretty chilly out for him!
