Gavin and Nolan

Gavin and I had the pleasure of watching Nolan this afternoon. I have never seen Gavin so gentle, giving, and polite, as he was with Nolan! It was so cute! He also seemed very protected and watched out for him! Nolan even showed Gavin a few tricks :) I think Gavin had a lot of fun. When he woke up from his nap this morning the first thing he said was, "baby nonan, baby nonan?" It was cute, he calls Nolan, Nonan! I thought I would share some pictures I took of them today!

Gavin had another breathing spell today. It started by me not letting him take two unbrellas outside. He got upset and passed out! It is so scary! The scary thing is, is that, I truely do not think he knows that he is doing that to himself. Kristin was here and got to witness it first hand! She was in shock and scared! I think she was suprised that I was calm. I guess I just get used to it, and David tought me that I can't flip out anymore, not good for Gavin or myself. It's something he does and I guess it is common, so for now, we just wait until he grows out of it!

Thats all for now, I just got done watching the Bachelorette! Poor Jason! But...after watching "After the final rose" I can see that they are happy! Anyone who watched the Bachelorette knows what im talking about ;)

Time to crawl into bed with my hubby! Nighty night.

Good Weekend!

We had an eventful and wonderful weekend!

David and his dad started the building the deck! It looks WONDERFUL! We just kinda hung out at Mom and Dad VV's most of the weekend! Friday for the 4th we went to Stoughton fireworks! They were wonderful, probably the best finale I have ever seen! Gavin LOVED the fireworks too! They also had a little petting zoo, so Gavin enjoyed seeing all of the animals!

Saturday Jessie came to visit for the day! It was very nice to see her and hang out, it was low key, very relaxing and needed!

Gavin did alot of swimming this weekend too! He is a fish, and is not affraid of the water at all, even goes underneath a bit, kinda scares me that he loves it so much, swimming lessons here we come!

Tomorrow I get to watch NOLAN for the day! Gavin will really enjoy that I think! Its going to be a nice treat for him!

It is around 6:30pm right now and we just got Gavin out of the Bath, he had taken a little nap (about an hour) all day and woke up at 5:45 screaming his head off! He is getting molars in, he was in alot of pain, and told us exactly where is hurt. He wouldn't stop crying so all that would work was to play in the bath. Now David and Gavin are rockin in the living room watching Franklin! Our favorite!

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July everyone! This is Gavin's 2nd, 4th of July. I hope he enjoys the fireworks tonight alot! Last year he fell asleep during them!

It is about 8:15am right now and we just all crawled out of bed! It feels SO nice to sleep in, except we really didn't sleep. At 6:15 I went and got Gavin and brought him in with us, he watched cartoons while David and I napped some more, hehe. Needless to say...it was very nice to get a few more hours of shut eye, considering David and myself get up before 6am everyday!

Today we are planning on going over to Mom and Dad VV's to spend the day with them. David and his Dad are going to be starting the deck! Tonight we will be going to some fireworks, not sure where yet, but we will be hitting some up! Hopefully somewhere with a carnival! I LOVE carnivals, yes the carnies scare me, but the ride I love! No one else likes them though, im going to have to ask some stranger to hop on with me, hehe, jk.

Thanks Grammy!

We want to thank Grammy for taking a ball last night for Gavin! We were at David and Dad VV's softball game and it was towards the end and Gavin was getting very restless and it was way past his bedtime, so Grammy said that she would take him for a walk. Gavin desided to walk towards the dugout where there is an opening to the field and right as he was there a ball was thrown towards him. Grammy went in front of the ball and it hit her, instead of Gavin. She is a trooper! The ball hit her hand, and her fingers were looking a little rough,(black and blue and swollen). But... if she wasnt there it would have hit Gavin and knocked him right out! So thanks Grammy! We Love You, and we hope your hand feels better!All in all, the softball game was good last night, they won by a ton! David had two homeruns, and two triples! YAH baby!

Tonight I have my anual work meeting. I always look forward to those! David and Gavin will have a nice night playing while im gone, im sure!

18 Month check up!

Gavin had his 18 month check up today! He had to get two shots, we were a little nervous because he tends to pass out from them, but he did GREAT he got stickers and Daddy held him the whole time, while mommy closed her eyes!

He is a Tall Tall boy, but is growing perfectly and is in great health! She said he is one of the healthiest kids she knows, and she also said it has alot to do with him not going to daycare! That made me happy! She is a wonderful doctor and Gavin went around all day saying, "Dr. Burns, Dr. Burns, Dr. Burns". It was too funny!

I thought I would share what Gavin likes to do in the Bathtub lately. He likes to lay down flat and pretend he is making a snow angel. We say water angel! Its cute.
